Welcome to The Just Because Gift Company! I believe in gift-giving every single day, because you don’t need a memorable holiday or a birthday to receive one. Any day can be a Just Because Gift Day.
My name is Julie Apsey, and I am the owner of The Just Because Gift Company. I have a heart for gifting to others; I have a knack for finding unique gifts and delivering them when they are needed most. I hope to continue to bring my customers unique gifts that their loved ones will enjoy.
This new business has been a dream of mine for a long time. I have prayed upon this, and it has been one God nudge after another that I am supposed to open this business. I am very thankful for a good friend of mine who believed in me even when I doubted myself and encouraged me along the way. God truly puts people in your life for a reason.
When I give to others, I do so with my heart. I have a way of listening to people or seeing what they need before I personally give to them. Sometimes it’s a feeling or a nudge that this person needs this item. As I was choosing gifts for this company, I, too, got little nudges to bring certain items for all of you.
When it came time to choose products to carry for the business, I was nudged to choose companies that give back in some way. I have always wanted to start my own charity, and this is my way of helping others and giving back. Several of the companies I have partnered with are helping make a difference, and when you support my business and purchase their products, we can make an incredible impact.
Denik – Helps support artists and builds schools in third-world countries. Their water-resistant, lay-flat, artist-designed, soft-to-the-touch notebooks, and each notebook sold helps support the artists and build schools in third-world countries.
Upcycled for Hope– luxury up-cycled bags for a good cause. Each bag raises money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation & Epilepsy Foundation.
"Aasha" - means hope in Hindi. Aasha is a 100% sustainable jewelry line made by an artisan group of economically disadvantaged women. Using discarded saris and wrapping them over wooden beads, these women create a unique and colorful collection of jewelry. Upcycled beads made by female artisans in India, providing economic empowerment and funding education. Each bead is different.
Grounds and Hounds - Great Coffee can fuel a greater purpose. When we support Grounds and Hounds through The Just Because Gift Company, we are making a difference for rescue pups. 20% of all the profits from the purchase of their brand are sent to rescue organizations working to make Second Chance Mission a reality. Their coffee is organic and eco-friendly.
